Fisch Apollos Song of Light: Layer Completion Guide
Clear Fisch Apollos Song of Light: light beams, Solar Chorus, tablets, mirrors, Helios Sunray, and the next Olympus seal.
How Fisch Apollos Song of Light Works
If the pool looks bright but your bites keep failing, you are probably standing in the wrong part of Fisch Apollos Song of Light. This is the second Wrath of Olympus layer, and it is where drifting beams, a short solar event, and a mirror puzzle decide whether the next seal opens. Fisch Apollos Song of Light matters because a full bestiary and the path forward both depend on one timed hunt, not on casual casts.
The layer is easy to recognize once you drop in. Community documentation describes large musical instruments, solar panels, and a yellow-green palette instead of the war-torn look of the floor above. Treat that color shift as your landmark. If the scenery is still dominated by the previous boss arena, you are not in the solar pool yet.
You arrive through a tunnel from Bellona's Frenzy of War, and only after you survive the Legionnaire Lamprey fight. There is no side door that skips that clear. If Lamprey is still up, finish that fight, heal, restock bait, and then take the tunnel. New players who have not reached Olympus at all should load the game from the official Roblox website first. This layer assumes you already understand lure, luck, and perfect catches.
| Detail | What the layer expects |
|---|---|
| Position | Second of the six Wrath of Olympus layers |
| Visual theme | Yellow and green, solar panels, oversized instruments |
| Entrance | Tunnel after surviving Legionnaire Lamprey |
| Pool rule | Heavy lure and luck penalty outside moving light beams |
| Progress lock | Helios Sunray catch, five mirrors, then a survival fight |
Plan your route through Fisch Apollos Song of Light before you spend a chorus. A prepared run has four jobs: fish inside beams, force Solar Chorus, light every solar tablet you can find, and only then catch the hunt fish. Players who catch the boss fish early can still open the next seal, but they often miss the short window to buy the layer's rod.
Beam Penalties, Rod Bonuses, and Known Fish
The pool is covered by light beams that drift. Cast inside a beam. Community references are blunt about the alternative: fishing outside a beam cuts lure speed by 100 and luck by 100. That is not a small weather dip. It is enough to make an otherwise decent rod feel broken. Follow the beam as it moves. If your character is standing in glow but the bobber is outside it, you are still taking the penalty.
Solar Chorus cancels that penalty for its full duration. The same event also grants +25 lure speed and +25 progress speed. That is the window for hard fish, tablet fishing, and the legendary count that can start the hunt. Do not wander off to sell fish in the middle of those 10 minutes unless someone else is covering the objectives.
Rod shape matters here in a way most pools ignore. Rods treated as bows or musical instruments gain +20% progress speed and +50 luck. The documented bow list is Apollo's Sunshot, Cupid's Bow, and Maelstrom. If you already own Cupid's Bow or Maelstrom, bring one. Apollo's Sunshot is earned inside this layer, so it is a reward, not your starter tool.
| Situation | Lure speed | Luck | Progress speed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Outside a light beam | -100 | -100 | No bonus listed |
| Solar Chorus active | Penalty removed, then +25 | Penalty removed | +25 |
| Bow or instrument-style rod | No extra lure listed | +50 | +20% |
Most of the bestiary in Fisch Apollos Song of Light can be filled while you wait on the event, as long as you stay in the beams. The public fish table for this layer is still thin, so do not treat two rows as the whole catalog. Use them as proof that ordinary rarity rules still apply between events.
| Fish | Rarity | Bait | Time | Weather | Season |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Broken Arrow | Trash | None | None | None | None |
| Gleamfin Minnow | Common | Minnow | Day | Clear | Spring and Summer |
Gleamfin Minnow is the useful example. A common fish can still refuse you if the clock, sky, or season is wrong, or if you forgot Minnow bait. Broken Arrow has no bait, time, weather, or season requirement. Seeing trash does not mean the pool is "working well." It only means you are fishing the area.
Player experience from a bestiary video separates three catches as chorus-only: a radiant guppy, a sun whale, and the sun ray. The written wiki is cleaner on two of those names. Empyrean Sunwhale is tied directly to Solar Chorus. Helios Sunray is the hunt target. The "radiant guppy" label is unverified player experience from a spoken clip. Check your own bestiary before you spend an hour searching for a name the wiki never lists. The sun-whale mention in that clip is very likely Empyrean Sunwhale under a bad transcription.
A practical loop while you wait: stand in a beam, use a bow-style rod if you have one, match any season and weather gates you already know, and bank perfect catches. Sloppy reels still fill some of the log. They do not help the hunt counter described below.
Solar Chorus and the Helios Sunray Hunt
Solar Chorus is unique to this layer and starts through disturbance. The in-game callout is the light singing with radiance. When it is real, solar tablets light up. Player experience says the reliable way to build that disturbance is a group fishing the beams together, not one person casting at the edge of the pool. A solo player can still contribute, but this event is tuned like a server project.
What the 10 minutes are for
The event lasts about 10 minutes. During it you get the stat swing above, Empyrean Sunwhale becomes available, and tablets can be activated by fishing near them. Catching 25 legendary fish from this layer, and the wiki says those catches must be perfect, spawns the Helios Sunray hunt. A legendary you barely reel in may not count. If your group needs the hunt from this method, call out perfects so nobody assumes a messy catch added a point.
| Event | How it starts | How long it lasts | What it unlocks |
|---|---|---|---|
| Solar Chorus | Disturbance, this layer only | 10 minutes | Sunwhale, tablet fishing, +25 lure, +25 progress, penalty removal |
| Helios Sunray hunt | Up to 50,000 disturbance risk, or 25 perfect legendaries during chorus | 15 minutes, or until any player catches it | The fish required for the seal fight and the rod window |
There is a second hunt path that does not depend on the legendary counter. Documentation says the hunt can also be forced by disturbance with a max risk of 50,000. Use whichever route your server can actually reach. A coordinated crew with strong rods will often hit 25 perfect legendaries faster than a scattered server hits a huge disturbance number. A small server may find the risk route more realistic if legendary luck is poor.
Tablets, and why four spots are not enough
Tablets activate when you fish near them while Solar Chorus is up. The community wiki publishes four coordinates and, in the rod section, asks for all eight tablets. Those two facts have to be read together. Clearing only the published four will not satisfy an eight-tablet check.
| Published tablet spot | Coordinates |
|---|---|
| Tablet A | X: -8890, Y: -2890, Z: 570 |
| Tablet B | X: -8790, Y: -2900, Z: 647 |
| Tablet C | X: -8920, Y: -2900, Z: 870 |
| Tablet D | X: -8840, Y: -2905, Z: 900 |
Sweep those four first, then keep circling the pool during the same chorus. Player experience matches the wiki on the visual cue: tablets lighting up means the event is live. It does not mean every tablet is already finished. Fish beside each dark tablet until it responds. Because the beams are still the safe casting zones outside the penalty cancel, do this work after chorus starts, when the outside-beam penalty is gone and you can move.
The hunt announcement is a Helios Sunray blazing through the water. It lasts 15 minutes, or it ends immediately when any player catches the fish. That last rule causes most failed rod attempts. If someone on the server reels it in before the tablets are active, the hunt is over. Agree on a caller. Everyone else should be on tablets until that person says the set is lit.
Catching Helios Sunray during Solar Chorus, with all eight tablets active, makes Apollo's Sunshot purchasable for 17,500,000 C$ for five minutes. Both timers can overlap badly. Chorus is already counting down while you farm 25 legendaries. The hunt can end in one catch. The shop then stays up for only five minutes. Decide before the chorus who is holding the money.
Instruments, Mirrors, and the Divine Seal
Five instruments are scattered through the area. Interact with them in the correct order and a gate opens at X: -8840, Y: -2900, Z: 501. The game plays a short cutscene, and the gate stays open permanently. Behind it is where Apollo's Sunshot spawns, according to the same community write-up that lists the instruments.
Only the first two steps are published with locations. Inventing the other three would send you to the wrong props. Use the known pair, then test the remaining instruments and wait for the cutscene rather than trusting a guessed song.
| Order | Instrument | Location |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Drum | X: -8840, Y: -2900, Z: 655 |
| 2 | Banjo | X: -8910, Y: -2895, Z: 720 |
| 3–5 | Not fully published | Find the other three on the map and confirm with the gate cutscene |
Player experience agrees that order matters and that a separate clip is how many people learned the full song. Until a complete list is written down, the permanent gate is your proof. If you played five instruments and nothing opened, one press was out of sequence. Reset your memory and start again at the drum. Do not assume a partial song "almost" counts.
Mirror work in Fisch Apollos Song of Light is the other physical puzzle, and it is easy to botch if you rush. Five mirrors surround the Divine Seal. Each one has to be aimed at that seal. Player experience describes the motion simply: approach a mirror and point it down toward the central hole until the lights beam downward. Current visuals can be weak, so do not wait for a flashy cutscene on every mirror. Look at the aim. If one mirror faces a wall, the set is not done.
The boss does not start from mirrors alone, and it does not start from the catch alone. The documented order is: catch Helios Sunray, and have all five mirrors aimed at the Divine Seal. Then the Helios Sunray fight begins. You survive by escaping attacks with the control bar. Player experience calls this a short survival minigame. Either way, dying or failing the bar means the seal stays shut even if the fish is already in someone's inventory.
After you survive, the Divine Seal for this layer unlocks and the next floor opens. That is the real completion check. A full bestiary is separate. You can enter the next layer without every common fish, and you can own every fish and still be stuck if the mirrors or the control-bar fight were skipped.
Buying Apollo's Sunshot and Opening the Next Layer
The purchase check is the part of Fisch Apollos Song of Light that punishes solo play and empty wallets. Seventeen million five hundred thousand C$ is not pocket change, and the prompt lasts five minutes. Bring the cash into the chorus. Selling a bag after the fish is caught is how people watch the rod despawn.
Read the two spawn notes as a pair, not as a contradiction. One condition puts a five-minute purchase in the world when the sunray is caught during chorus with every tablet active. The other says the instrument gate opens onto the spawn spot. A player who already had a 100% bestiary still could not point at a obvious pedestal and say the rod lived there. Trust the timed purchase prompt more than a guessed statue. If the prompt never appears, you are missing an active tablet, you were outside chorus, or someone else ended the hunt too early.
Once you own Apollo's Sunshot, it joins the bow list. That means the same +20% progress speed and +50 luck that Cupid's Bow and Maelstrom already give. It is worth buying on the first clean window if the next layers keep rewarding that rod class. It is not required to align mirrors or to survive the control-bar fight.
| Step | Done when | Common failure |
|---|---|---|
| Enter the layer | Tunnel after Legionnaire Lamprey | Grinding the previous arena by mistake |
| Fish the beams | Bobber stays inside the drifting light | Eating -100 lure and -100 luck |
| Start Solar Chorus | Tablets light and the light "sings" | Solo disturbance that never tips |
| Light tablets | All eight active, not just the four mapped spots | Stopping after the published coordinates |
| Spawn the hunt | 25 perfect legendaries or the 50,000-risk route | Counting imperfect legendaries |
| Catch Helios Sunray | Your caller reels it in on purpose | A random player ending the 15-minute hunt |
| Buy the rod | 17,500,000 C$ spent inside 5 minutes | Showing up broke |
| Aim five mirrors | Every mirror points at the Divine Seal | Facing mirrors at each other |
| Survive the fight | Control-bar escapes clear the attacks | Leaving after the catch |
| Play the instruments | Gate cutscene at the published coordinates | Stopping after drum and banjo |
A few habits save more time than any single rare bait:
- Mark the four known tablet coordinates, then budget extra chorus time for the undocumented four.
- Assign one catcher, one mirror person, and everyone else to tablets and perfect legendaries.
- Stand inside beams until chorus removes the penalty. Then move freely.
- Keep 17,500,000 C$ on hand before the first hunt, not after.
- Use the drum, then the banjo, then search. Do not invent steps three through five from map guesses.
- After the catch, look at the mirrors before you celebrate. The fight still has to be survived.
If your only goal is the next layer, you can skip the shopping scramble and still finish. Catch the sunray, aim the five mirrors, and live through the control bar. If your goal is the rod plus the seal, the tablets have to be finished first, the catch has to happen while chorus is still up, and the money has to already be in your pocket. Those are different routes. Pick one before the event text hits the screen.
FAQ
How do you enter Fisch Apollos Song of Light?
Clear Legionnaire Lamprey in Bellona's Frenzy of War, then take the tunnel into the yellow-green solar layer. The layer is the second of six in Wrath of Olympus. You cannot start the chorus, the tablets, or the mirror seal from the previous arena.
Why does luck collapse even with a strong rod?
You are almost certainly casting outside the moving light beams. That position applies -100 lure speed and -100 luck. Stay under a beam, or wait until Solar Chorus cancels the penalty and adds its own +25 lure and +25 progress speed.
What exactly spawns Helios Sunray?
Either disturbance routed up to a max risk of 50,000, or 25 perfect legendary catches from this layer during Solar Chorus. The hunt then lasts 15 minutes, or until any player catches the fish. Catching it during chorus with all eight tablets active is what opens the five-minute Apollo's Sunshot sale.
Do the mirrors or the instruments come first?
They solve different locks. Instruments, in the correct order, open a permanent gate tied to where Apollo's Sunshot spawns. Mirrors must all face the Divine Seal, and together with a Helios Sunray catch they start the control-bar fight that unlocks the next layer. You can work on instruments between events. You should set mirrors before the catch so the fight can begin immediately.
